Rotary of Westmoreland is proud to be hosting our 1st annual UNDER THE BID-FLUENCE ONLINE AUCTION benefitting Rooted Outreach– a non-profit in Irwin.

Rooted Outreach is a nonprofit both educating and fight human trafficking, sexual assault, and sexual abuse in Westmoreland County. They have tasked themselves with now providing clothing kits to emergency rooms right here in our area for victims of sexual assault & abuse, human trafficking and trauma.

 

Why? Hospitals usually don't have clothing for victims after theirs are collected for evidence or destroyed due to a traumatic accident. Without the kits, victims must be sent home in scrubs, mesh undergarments or paper gowns.
